Service Description
Let go of the part of you that wants to plan ahead and embrace spontaneity! You will learn how to make the type of solid scenes that allow improv actors the freedom to inhabit the moment and really enjoy themselves. We'll cover all the basic boxes that need to be checked so you can turn your brain off, inhabit the moment, and just play. Skills practiced in this class: Making clear offers at the outset of a scene, listening, establishing clear relationships, discovering the scene with your partner, letting go of the inner editor, and relationship-driven scene work. Some improvisation experience is suggested, but none is required. 18+ (16+ with parental permission) Please email education@stfimprov.com for the permission slip.
