Improv Diversity Scholarship
Stranger than Fiction is committed to ensuring that individuals in historically underrepresented communities have an opportunity to learn improv, regardless of their financial situation. This annual scholarship gives free tuition to our Improv 101 class, with discounts on future classes.*

Who should apply?
Anyone who self-identifies a member of a community that is historically underrepresented in improv and comedy is welcome to apply, especially if they have a financial need that would prevent them from otherwise enrolling in a class. Underrepresented communities in improv often include, but are not limited, to:
-
Historically marginalized groups
-
Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC)
-
Members of the LGBTQIA+ community
-
People who have disabilities
-
People in a less-represented age group compared to the typical student population (50+)
-
Women and femme-identifying individuals

*If, in the event this class is cancelled, the scholarship recipient will instead receive free tuition to another STF class of their choosing.
