Service Description

Top improvisers excel when they are able to work with any partner, and in ENSEMBLE BUILDING, we pay focus to a hallmark of improvisation: synergy. Through collaborative exercises, not only will you sharpen your skills, but you'll also form lasting connections. The class will work together to craft a unique long-form style, drawing insights from past learnings and mutual understanding. Using STF’s distinct long-form approach, you'll weave tales, merge realities, and forge connections on stage. The essence of long-form improv, "Groupmind," emerges in this course from the foundational trio of character building, scene work, and ensemble formation. Over the span of the 6-week course, students get the opportunity to showcase their skills in two (2) separate live performances. This immersive structure uses the classroom as a platform for genuine performances, pushing students to apply their improv techniques before a live audience.
