301: Advanced Scene Work
Advanced scene study for students hoping to learn more complex relationship, and emotional tools
Service Description
Join Stranger than Fiction’s Jessie Conover for a six week advanced improv course. We will focus our attention on strong relationships, compelling characters, space work (also known as object work), and heightening. This course is a continuation of 201, the Introduction to Scene Work. You will learn how to make your scenes longer and more interesting to watch and play in. As such, it is perfect for anyone looking to improve their scene work and take their improv skills to the next level. The class will use a format known as The LaRonde to showcase our learning in a final public performance on Thursday, November 7th. Rehearsals are held at the Kittery Community Center. Prerequisite: Completion of 201 with STF or another comparable improv school.
